This is a fabulous 10 minute exercise of gentle movement and chanting in order to get the the spinal fluids moving and connect to the Source (Ba), your own Higher Self (Ra); grounding down to Mother Earth (Shem) and to the host of angels that surround you (Ka).
I put on a downloadable c/d from Tom Kenyon called BaRaShemKa (http://tomkenyon.com/store/ba-ra-shem-ka/). This is glorious chanting of the above mentioned sounds that have glorious transformational properties in their own right! Why of course! When you sing out the name of God, beautiful things happen!
I use this time to be grateful to Spirit without, Spirit within Me, Spirit in Mother Nature and Spirit within all the Angels!
There are no rules here just stretch, bend, and touch the body while chanting the various names of “God”.
I start by stretching up to “Ba” as in the photograph above, then I connect with “Ra” by touching around the area of the heart and solar plexus which is Spirit within my own holy body! Next, I ground down with “Shem” which is located at the base of the spine, at the root chakra, bending into slight lunges, side to side to connect with the Earth. Finally, for “Ka”, my energy body, where 10,000+angels can be found, I bend all the way down to touch my toes and slowly rise up with my hand outstretched all the way back up to “Ba” above the head. And then do it all over again adding your own special touch!
This little exercise has it all, connection to Source, connection to Me, connection with the Earth, connection with the Angels- Wow! I am grateful to Melody Rose Parker (Click here to connect with her on FB) who taught it to me! EnJOY!
